Jewels Adventure is different from other games of this kind in that, in this case, not only do you have to put together pieces in groups of three but also make shapes by putting the pieces together to beat the challenges in each level. It's possible that in one level the challenge is to create a T of green gems or match four red ones. The more gems you match in line with the challenge, the more points you'll get in each level and can walk away with a max of three gold stars in each level.

The gameplay in Jewels Adventure is practically identical to other games like this: you've got to switch the positions of two pieces to make one of them line up with two or more matching gems. The more jewels you match in one move, the more points you'll get.
